FATHER'S DAY HOP!!

HI HI!! This is our group's of Just a Few Friends, Father's Day hop!
Let me tell you, THIS was a challenge. Making flowerless projects was a huge undertaking! lol I must have stared at my blank card for hours, got up walked around, played with my copic markers, went to eat. watched tv...then back to staring. lol It was hard to create for me, but overall I am pretty happy with how it turned out and I hope you like it too.  The cute veneer hot air balloon was part of my winnings, (I have a video where you can see everything I got and where you can get you some pieces too! click HERE) ...
I used  Spellbinder nestabilities to make the layers and I just HAD to add a lil bow! It's brown!! soo THAT makes it manly no? hehehee -- the awesome paper is from my favorite manly stack by Graphic 45 "Proper Gentlemen"  ....
I had all sorts of issues with my camera so instead of pictures here is the video instead...

"A BOX FOR MOMMY" BLOG HOP

HI!!! So this working outside the home is not fun any more and I would like to quit please. lol I was reading my last post and its been a LONG LONG time since I've posted! This having no time really sucks.  I am so happy for the ladies (and gent) of the PRIDE they keep me going and have kept me creating since we have to post at least once a month!
Mothers day is just around the corner and we decided to create or alter a box...any box, any size, any shape box.   As always I procrastinated, pouncing around the Den, chatting it up with the cubs is always a lot more fun than being alone in my scrap room shredding paper and frolicking with glitter..sooo I just now completed my box a few hours ago.  Sure hope you like it.  I created my box from scratch and will soon have a video to show you how this cute lil box came together.  It was super easy and it turned out to be a really sturdy box!
Here are some pictures...This hop starts with me and continues with Alpha Lioness Kimi who showed us some sneak peaks of her box on Facebook yesterday...I can't wait to go see her box!!
We sure hope you will become super inspired to create and have fun in your scraproom!

EASTER BASKET HOP!! YAY!

PURRRRR...HI! Long time no write huh? I hope everyone is doing well, healthy and crafty!
Just a Few Friends is at it again...this month our theme was Easter Baskets, in any shape or form. I'm so very happy your hopping with us!! We are all Roaring with Pride... We are excited to be celebrating such a wonderful holiday. Even though, we know its not all about the eggs, chicks or baskets, everyone still identifies this colorful, chocolate filled day with a basket. You should maybe think about creating your own this year.
Recycle cereal boxes, old cardboard (like i did) and make something beautiful!  Im giving my pink lil'basket to my granddaughter. Gonna fill it with some candy, nail polishes, cause the lil one LOVES her fingers all purdy and stuff.  lol

my BIRTHDAY today

Hi! so today I celebrated my 47th birthday.  I remember thinking, 30 was "old" once upon a time, oddly enough 47 is NOT old at all!!  I had a great day, even though I had to go into work!!    But I had a good day at work...Krystal bought me a coffee first thing in the am and contact lens drops lol See the thing is that for the first time in EVER I am "TRYING" to wear contact lens.  NOT fun, my eyes were dry all day and in some kind of pain or other. BUT over all I'm glad that I WILL eventually get used to them...moving on...later that day, my boss took me to eat.  SHRIMP yumm...at our local "Shrimp Basket" restaurant.  Then I came home to BRANDI (my baby girl) --who came over to baked me brownies in a cup! The darnest thing. she has this set of oven/cook ware ... see the photos below.  too cool... you pour the mix into the cow cups, and stick in the oven...then presto...brownies in a cup!!!  IT was awesome! the perfect ending!

Preparing you all for the upcomin VALENTINES DAY HOP!

HI ALL!!! Ok so I did a mini tutorial on a baggie I will be using for our upcoming blog hop! All the cubs are busy creating their own bags, or altering store bought bags!  The hop is coming up on Feb 9th! I can't wait to see what everyone creates.  In this video, I comment how YOU can do a video respose showing me your Valentines decorated baggie,  to get a chance to win some lace...
